In 2018, TD Bank ranked No. 34 on DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity list. In 2019, it moved up to No. 19. TD Bank’s senior vice president of retail product and customer acquisition technology Lakshmi Stockham discusses the work the company did to improve its diversity and inclusion practices. She said TD Bank is focused on recruiting, developing and promoting talent across various backgrounds and identities and fostering a challenging and inclusive company culture.
“It’s very important for us to create an inclusive, barrier-free environment, not only for our colleagues, but also the customers that we serve, where people feel valued, supported and respected,” she said.
