Did you know that there’s an increasing need for workers throughout the United States and around the world? To fill the gap, Marriott International plans to add 25,000-30,000 jobs globally within the next year and another 150,000 in the next five years, with a significant focus in U.S.
During DiversityInc’s High Potentials and the War for Talent event, David Rodriguez, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Marriott International, analyzed Marriott’s recruiting strategy and how it plans to retain high potentials with an emphasis on cross-generational mentoring. Rodriguez also shared how it repositions their employee resource groups as talent network groups.
In addition, Marriott’s speaker shed some light on its Emerging Leaders program, which focuses on younger Blacks, Latinos, Asian, and women with emphasis on sponsorship.
